The Relation of Czechs to the Life in Slovakia

Novembers' survey of CVVM comprised questions concerning the twentieth anniversary of the split of Czechoslovakia and the emergence of the independent Czech state. CVVM also asked about the contemporary relation of Czechs towards Slovaks. On the one hand, we made an inquiry about the interest of Czechs in different areas of life in Slovakia, on the other hand, we focused on the number of information about the life in Slovakia that Czechs have to their disposal. In comparison with other areas of life, Czechs are especially interested in the life of ordinary people in Slovakia, but they don't have enough information about it.

Support of Presidential Candidates in November 2012

In the November survey, CVVM investigated the support of presidential candidates. Czechs and their opinion on quality of school education - September 2012

In September 2012, CVVM carried out an opinion poll on how Czech citizens evaluate the quality of education on all school levels. Part of the press release is also comparison of current results with findings from previous surveys. Then Czechs should have evaluated, which from the following characteristics - knowledge, independence, self-confidence, orientation in society, discipline, moral values, ability to work in a team, communication skills, creativity - are best evolved by particular types of schools.

In October's survey people have evaluated relations of the Czech Republic with some neighbouring or globally most important countries: Slovakia (91 % good / 7 % bad), Poland (77 % / 18 %), USA (84 % / 8 %), Germany (87 % / 9%), UK (86% / 6 %), France (86 % / 6 %), Hungary (79 % / 9 %), Austria (82 % / 12 %), Japan (68 % / 13 %), Russia (54 % / 36 %), China (47 % / 35 %), Israel (44 % / 31 %), Ukraine (46 % / 39 %) and Iran (20 % / 51 %).
